Policies

WashPA Outdoors is committed to ensuring that everyone has a safe and enriching experience while participating in our programs.  We take safety very seriously and have created a code of conduct to set expectations for behavior on the trail.

Please reach out if you have any concerns or would like to address a specific issue.

WPO Code of Conduct

Respect

WPO members will respect themselves, other humans, nature, and wildlife.

We must treat humans and animals with kindness, maintain boundaries with each other and nature, use appropriate language, respect belongings, and share the outdoors.

Safety

WPO members will engage in practices that preserve their safety and the safety of others.

We must stay with the group, follow directions, refrain from engaging in horseplay, and not disturb wildlife.

Leave No Trace

WPO members will leave everything just as they found it.

We must learn how to maintain the integrity and character of the outdoors for all living things

Health

WPO members will protect their own health and the health of others by practicing illness prevention activities such as hand washing and respiratory etiquette.

WPO follows CDC guidance for staying home when sick.
