...a 'little' fairy magic has come to the park!

While we've all been spending time finding new ways to enjoy our days, I have been thinking about how to make our Park a more inviting place to visit while socially distancing. I soon realized that in all of our efforts to care for the park, we hadn't thought to invite fairies to take up residence. It really is the perfect habitat what with all of our mature trees, and nooks and crannies around rocks, stumps, and the like. And while most fairies tend to be shy around humans, they are social creatures who thrive on a sense of community and family. With that, I set to work installing fairy doors. Just as any other plant or animal requires a particular habitat in order to move into a space, fairies require a door.

I've created five doors to invite fairies and fun into our park! I'll share clues with you this Sunday, so you can find these doors on your own when you visit the park. In the meantime, I'll introduce you to the first door, the Oaken Overlook...

The Oaken Overlook Door will probably host a fairy who doesn't mind living on the edge...

This door has a fairy window at the bottom. A fairy will be able to see out of this window, but if we peer through all we see are sparkles!
