Hiking Before Homework - Sp25

What to expect: Explore the trails with Miss Pam and new friends! We're adding a long-term HBH project; designing & building a natural play area! Adults can join with their kiddo or drop off, depending on your child's comfort level. That said, this is a great opportunity to let your child build their confidence in decision making, outdoor exploration, and learning to work together to problem solve. I encourage parents to give their child the space they need to gain independent experience outdoors. This may look like encouraging a hesitant child to walk ahead with a new friend; or dropping-off and enjoying quiet time to read (or nap!) in the park.

Cost: All WashPA Outdoor Programs are pay-what-you-can. All donations go toward the purchase of supplies which enhance outdoor education such as: bird seed, binoculars, hand lenses, gardening supplies, books, indoor/outdoor games, etc!
